I painted La Noche De Seville because of the reflection of the green neon lights in the inky black waters of Guadalquivir river. The night came alive with the lit up buildings and their reflections in the water was intriguing.  I tried capturing the lights and the life on the river on my canvas.  The bridge in my painting was testament to the many stories of people living their life in this beautiful city.  Seville is known for its nightlife and everything is centered around the river.  I just wanted to bring to life my memory of this memorable night.
